So remember the South Carolina Governor who told everyone he was going hiking in the Applachians, but in actually was using taxpayer money to fly to Brazil and have an affair? He resigned from office and had to pay a $70,000 fine for the money he embezzled. That guy is Mark Sanford and he's running for the House again in a special election. Rand and Ron Paul both endorsed him:

I can't find the endorsement, but I'm sure you are correct. It's a strong distric that votes early, and if you are running for president, it helps to win a district by 20% while people are still watching the primaries.
