Hmm, the more I see the more I like. Though it looks like this game really comes into its own with more plays.

I haven't had time to read through Fantasy Flight's run down this past week. What are the highlights?

I guess the big one for me was the use of leaders, and how you might send a leader on a mission to draw your opponent off or draw them out. I worried it be a ship fighting game, but that is a minor part.

I cant pay $50 for a 2 player game. Might be a fun game but 2 players is not worth it. Also it has risk in the name... mini's look cool, but I'm sure there are better games.

Not to belabor the point, but I happened to see Risk: Star Wars at Walmart for less than $15.

If I was a bigger Star Wars fan (or could understand why Kylo is on a game about RotJ), I'd pick it up. I hate to go Big Box over FLGS, BUT that is a great price.

Using micro machines to upgrade star wars games. Neat!

Still early, but on the radar.

Falling Sky - Gallic revolt against Caesar.

Uses GMT's well liked COIN system. Seems to be from the Celtic pov.

Saltlands

Mad Max meets Borderlands. Sorta a team race game.

First Martian
http://www.boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/ ... red-planet

Dead of winter on mars with an app that remembers what happened in previous games/missions. Previous choices effect future games. Legacy like experience without damaging the board. Downloadable expansions.

One of these games will be huge, I think it will be First Martian. Starting to see where my money may be going
