Rec. Fighting

Good Day, All.

I was thinking about getting into some of the Recreation Fighting next year after talking with (can't remeber the guy's name) at Unity War. I was wondering if anyone else was interested. Doug I notice you seemed to be interested in it also. If you are, maybe we could get togather over the winter months and work out a routine. I plan on building an authentic kit this winter. I meant to talk with you lad's last weekned about it. But, it completely slipped my mine. By the way I had a great time last weekend. I particularly like the capture the flag scenario fighting Ice and his lads

Yes and Yes. I will be willing to work on a kit over the winter and get steel quilifed by next year. Also I had a great time and my whole body aches from moving around.

Good Day, Doug.

I hope all is well with you. I was wondering if you wanted to practice a little Rec fighting routine after the black spear fight this weekend. I know it is a busy time right now, so If not we could work out some dates, maybe during/after the regular sunday practices when they start up again. I plan on start my budded chainmail halbert today so i am excited to get going on Rec. fighting.

Right now I only have my SCA and Markland swords and shields. I hope to make or buy the real stuff this winter. but at least it will get me started.
