I'm planning on going to the Paddy's BB, I've emailed the person running the event asking if she would plan on having Melee after the tourney. Otherwise there is a Bear pit style tourney to do.
I'm in, let me know if you are too!

So I see that Defending the Gate is this weekend. There was also talk of Celt Wars. I put out a message, I'll let you know what I find out. In either case, looks like a chance to swing stick this weekend.

YES - Celt Wars is this weekend. Dan et al, if you can post the info from FB, that would be helpful.

Meh. The last event was ok. Kinda like visiting your middle school and remembering how cool something's were, and then you realize your grownup and can't live in the past.
Having said that if others wanna go in force I'm all in.

Good Day, all.
I would be interested, I've got about two dozen Markland arrows that are just sitting around waiting for someone to shot. I also have a couple Markland swords, pole arms and a great sword. If anyone wants to fight but does not have a weapon.
Sincerely
Thomas

Maybe it's worth day-tripping. I think I still have a glaive that's markland padded. But it's a crown war, which means you have to pay the markland dues to fight. How much were those, anyone know?

I think 20 or 25.

I thought you only needed membership if you were fighting nor the crown not just at the war.

I think crown war requires membership. All other markland wars just cost you the entrance fee.

As the former Treasurer of Markland. I can tell you, in order to fight during Crown War you must be a member of Markland.
As for the cost. I have not be informed of any increases, so I will go off the current membership on the Markland site. Which is $20 per member, $25 per couple.
