Now, now, don't paint me as the bad guy. Pretty sure I said something, and pointed out the strider banner(BSB) was on the wrong side of the board, as I don't agree that Strider allows you to bypass obstacles. As usual, no one listens to me.

While I'm thinking about it, save your cereal boxes. Since your units are long and thin, it works well for movement trays.

Good Day. Jeff

But you are always the bad guy! just ask anyone. Hopefully, I'll understand a little more about my army the next time we play.

Sincerely

Thomas

I also play Lizardmen, albeit I have not used them in 8th yet. I did bring them on Sat, and had debated playing them, but Serban's offer to play Ogres was too enticing.

I don't play, but when I did, I used the Skaven. If I were to play I would have to borrow an army, and army list in order to play.

I play dwarfs and after watching the hobbit I so want to come home and play with them. Jeff should be holding onto them for safe keeping, and if someone plays them, they exactly might win lol

Curse you Clayson. If I had ever played i would have picked dwarves as my group of choice.

Clayson: Actually, you gave me a case of Dark Angels, which you brother took.

Ray: I think Clayson plays miners and Slayers mostly, where as Kevin plays pre-gunpowder Dwarves. So if you dig cannons, that route is still open. Personally, I've always disliked the GW Dwarf models, however, I am a fan of the Kings of War models.

Chaos is also another good starter army. Rock solid troops, not a lot of shooting.

I wasn't going to pick them because of there attributes. I just think dwarves are awesome. Maybe I'll have to look at some othet ones and see if any look appealing

We don't have much along the lines of bad guys in general. Jeff has Skaven, Dan has Orcs, and Chris plays Warriors of Chaos when we pull him away from 40k. Jeff is the only one that has the time to play consistently. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I kinda miss Kevin's Savage Orcs and Tzeetch Chariot Army of Doom. It doesn't help that I really don't want to play my Vampire Counts any more. They're just sitting around collecting dust. They got beat up pretty bad by the movers last time and I just don't like the modeling job I did on them. Plus, my High Elves are already pretty magic-dependent. Vampires are even more so. I would prefer something that could function well without worrying so much about magic. If I were to make another army I think I would try Chaos Daemons, specifically all Khorne. Total opposite of High Elves looks-wise while still being the smaller, more elite style of army that I tend to favor. I can see it now: 3-4 blocks of Bloodletters, some Bloodcrushers, and a Bloodthirster to lead it all. No magic. No Shooting. Just charging and chopping.
