Good Day, Kiara & ulalalu

As it stands now it looks as if Dec 16 will be the first practice I'll be able to make. but then again until we get a final decision on the off ramp my time is not mine. I am truely sorry for not being able to get to practice with the gear. If anyone had some free time to meet me at my house on sunday the 6 I could just loan you the stuff you need.

Sincerely

Thomas

Good Day, ladies.

If nothing comes up, I could give you some pointers on combat archery on sunday the 6th. I have plenty of room to shoot so bring what ever armour rachel and jeff has prepared for you.

Sincerely

Thomas

As Rachel said padding a helmet right takes time. Done wrong, you can give yourself a headache pretty quick. There are four (4) types of foam in my helmet alone to provide the proper flexiblity and support.

Dan, any idea where our bows ended up? I can picture my bow in my old place, but not in the new house.

I'll definitely try and make it out to your place sunday. I'll try and coordinate with Kiara and see who can drive. We'll keep you updated. What time were you thinking?

p.s. what is the address of the place we're having practice? I'm going to come and check things out tonight @ 6ish. I really doubt I'll be able to make it to Jeffs before that though. I'll call around later if I don't hear back on the forum first.

I p.m.ed you the address, its in the field behind Cooks house. Its ok that you can't make it to the pre practice amour session, I believe Jason will be at practice but not fighting so can probably guide you as to necessary steps for things like helmet padding. The rest of us will gladly help out between bouts.

FYI, we have at LEAST 4 new recruits! Just saying, if there was ever a night were you felt like just standing around imparting knowledge, tonight would be the night. And yes, I know it's raining . . .

Good Day, ladies.

I have a couple extra CA bows. I will be home all day on sunday so whatever time you two can get togather is fine with me. I have a couple of loaner helmets. since my head is small they may fit you well enough for combat archery. You usually don't recieve a full on crown blow as a CAer. but as jeff say's you really need to get a well fitting helmet. because sometimes fighters do take out thier aggression on CAers. If any one else would like to come down and be targets for the lasses that would be helpful. It would give them a better idear of what to expect on the field rather then just shooting around my obsticales.

Should we think about upgrading it to a practice? I probably can't come due to work and school.
