So this is just to get the ball a rolling (pun intended). This looks to be a free weekend. As long as it is good with everyone else we can lock this in. I want to get something together/pre-planned for a cookout afterwards, so I can collect monies for it.

Let me know if we need to change the date or any suggestions. I put on the Facebook invite that it is tentatively scheduled. Just wanted to put something out there. Don't have to join Facebook to see the event and it's not a requirement to play I just know that a lot of people schedule their life's around Facebook events/calender.

One idea I had was that everyone should bring two shirts (colors yet determined) like one white t-shirt and one green t-shirt so when we pick teams it could be more organized.

Second idea is bringing a notebook for rosters and score keeping.

Sounds good, we may also want to look into bases and fill dirt.

That is Memorial Day Weekend and I have been asked if we could change it to the 5th or 6th. I don't see anything on the calendars for May-5 or 6. Would that be cool with you Jeff?

May 6th is the War Practice down at Patuxent River Park(Can't Remember if that is the name), down by Thomas' House.

OK, so Jason says the war practice is the 6th, which is a sunday, when Doug said the 5th for kickball... and clayson says he can't the 25th, but can the 27th when Doug says the 25th. lol, is anyone else pondering this??? Scutt trait??? lol.

I never said we couldn't do it the 5th, I was just saying there was a good practice on the 6th that we should go to.

Some people can't do two things on a weekend, and I was trying to not keep anyone from attending either because they can't do both or don' t want to get hurt before the war or what have you. I was trying to schedule it on a weekend that nothing was going on as well so if we needed to move it from Saturday to Sunday it wouldn't be that big of a deal.

At this point it is going to stay the 26th, with cookout afterwards. I am going to start gathering stuff and I will get back to everyone on pricing for the cookout. any other suggestions feel free to post them.

PS If we can't even schedule a Kickball game without having issues how are we ever to hold another event.

Can I get a head count for Kickball and cook out afterwards. At this point its going to be Amanda and I supplying the food. So if there is anything you want to bring feel free.
