Starting Tuesday April 9, and continuing on the second and fourth Tuesday of every month, the Sergeants of St Aiden will be hosting the Lochmere/St Aidens Armoured Melee Practices. Be in armour by 7pm, as we fight until the Sun goes down and it is a limiting factor, especially this early in the season.

As always, our friends in other groups are always invited. Also, this is a practice, so come out even if you are not authorized and get your first taste of melee.

All, this contradicts what Carlyle said, but this guy (Mike Blanford) says there is a fight on the 7th.

The next Lochmere melee practice will be on Tuesday, May 7th. Start around 7pm go until dark or everyone is too tried. CA will be allowed as long as we're careful.

We had 10 fighters last practice. We should have more this time around as a couple of Lochmere regulars couldn't make it. I also sent out a couple emails (looking at you Rome) to raise interest.

PS: Stepping Stone Demo & Melee Practice is Saturday, May 11th. Last year we fought 10 aside because a nice sized unit from Markland came out. I heard rumor they are coming again with more fighters. All are welcome. Since this is a demo, you can bring your mundane friends to check out your crazy hobby. So who's going?

I'll assume myself, chris, dan, LBS, and probably Gregor. Actually, that's about all we have local. You are like a fifth of our fighting force. If you go, we can try "tactics".

I will not go to the lochmere practice as I can not shoot. I would end up stick jocking more, but its the principle of the thing.

Per the post above, it says CA is allowed. Since Fulk is the Lochmere Heavy Marshal, I assume that is as close to the horses mouth as possible.
