This is your one month warning. I would like to see us in full force for this event. As of now, I plan to camp.

Looks like a cool battle. That's 2 weeks before my babies are schedule to arrive by stork. I'd like to come but we'll see how things progress. I will not be camping if I do come.

If I get my gear in order and make sure it still fits ill fight but probably wont camp bc I have no camping gear anymore

This has historicly been one of the best fighting events of the year. I am looking very much forward to it. I hope you all can attaend.

So 10 days away. Who's going? Who's camping? Are we doing the ceremonies we loosely discussed earlier in the month?

I plan on going. I will not be camping. Becky will come if other wives come. However, don't plan on us sticking around much beyond the fighting portion.

I don't know if ceremonies will be good to do at this war. I'd much rather meet at Thomas house one weekend and use his awesome outside gathering area with the fireplace. I really like that place for ceremonies as it looks great and we have decorated it in the past to look really good. I don't think we can do the same at the war, especially if people don't camp (so we don't have our fire). I wouldn't want to use someone else's fire. And if we were to do it at a war, we really need to prepare so we don't look crappy and embarrass ourselves.

I'm going and plan on camping. I may be there both Friday and Saturday. Not sure yet but I might be bringing the camper. I'm fine with doing the ceremony at the event but I agree with serban that it needs to be done up right. It's a ceremony, we don't do them often so there should be a fair amount of flare to it.

I am, but the house is not. I have a big hole in the back hallway that needs to be repaired, and the upstairs bath is out of order, need some major plumping there. I hope to get to the hallway by mid Oct.

Thanks Doug, But it is really me just getting around to it. This old house of mine has a hundred little and big jobs to do.I can only get to so many at a time without spending my entire life working on the house. I'd much rather play golf and go skiing speaking of skiing. Oh wait that is another thread, don't want to get yelled at again for hijacking a thread.

So it looks like the camper is a go. I should be there Friday night through Sunday. Look forward to seeing everyone.

Janet and I will be at the event and plan on hanging out and sitting around the fire after fighting. We will not camp. If folks will be there on Friday night I will be happy to help set up etc...
