Greetings honored warriors,

Blackspear would once again like to host a Blackspear/Galatia Practice on Sunday, January 25th at 10:00 to 12:00 at the same location - Jos's house. We all enjoyed the last practice and felt we learned a great deal. At the last practice Blackspear brought 10 fighters. For the January practice I already have 10 fighters committed. I hope to pick up one or two more over the next month. I prey you will plan to join us and bring numbers to match our own.

Your honored warlord and I have agreed to limit the fighting to three specific battles. It is Morgrenals belief that if we stick to these three scenarios every monthly practice, we will each learn new and better tactics to out fight the other group. I believe your warlord is wise. These scenarios are:

1. Field Battle - No Res, 3-4 battles fought

2. A hold the point battle - 15 minutes, unlimited res, 1 point awarded every 3 minutes.

3. Bridge Battles - 3 res each fighter, 2-3 battles fought

It has been very helpful to keep these practices limited to 2 hours on a Sunday. I can still get home in time to meet family obligations. With this in mind, we will try to be in armour at 10:00 and ready to go.

I hope you will decide to join us come warm weather or cold, snow or sun. (cold rain will likely shut us down but snow could be fun!)

Good Day, All.

As far as I can tell at this early date, I should be able to make this practice. I would highly recomend these pratices. They are allot of fun! Black Spear fights with a lot of honor. I have had little trouble with people blowing off my arrow shots. Although, Black Spear does have way to many bloody shield men. I use to love fighting against Galatia. half of you are spears, great swords, maces or pole arms much easier targets. Plus, you guys allways took my shots! No sense shooting someone who will only blow off the shot. A very honorable group indeed!

count me and the hammer in, i miss you guys and im tired of us being out number and run over because we cant get enough together to meet the challenge. im as guilty as any for not making it but its time to make a little more effort.

p.s. my monkey will be there with a spear.

can we set up armor repair day on 17th mebe? i know a few of you have stuff needs fixin.

So far, I have confirmations from 10 fighters. I expect 12. We would love a force to match us.... While I understand you each fight like 2 men, We do as well :) Consider this my taunting of you as I don't wish to start talkin smack....

Ha, I called in the Galatians from the Great White North, and we should have 83. (Give or take 70 some)

if shawn comes he needs gauntlets and a gorget. i have legs he can use.

I should have an extra set of gauntlets, I just have to go pick them up from Bill. Or since you live near him Dan, if you could call him and pick them up for me, that would be great. Seeing as we have not seen Bill since Pensic. Awesomeness, out.
