Always a great and fun feast.

Bad news...which changes this being a great family event to sucksville. Looks like under new PA law if you want to remain a Smoking establishment you have to bar anyone under the age of 18 from entering the premises, which means that we can't bring our kids. This was one of the events that I enjoyed bring my kids cuz everyone else did too. So I might just be going up for the Althyng and then leaving cuz my kids can't go. If anyone wants to ride up with me for the Althyng only let me know. I might still do the feast if enough of us still want to do it, maybe?

That sucks! Last year there were a lot of people with kids there playing on the stage and all.. that was fun.

And people wonder why I'm so anti-big government. So much for freedom. I'm still in if peeps are going, but that total blows that the kids can't go!

politcs are the devil.

I still want to go as it is a very good feast usually. Doug, would you be able to leave your kids with the parents or something so you can stay too? It feels almost a wasted trip to just come there for a stupid meeting and leave hungry..

Like I said I will stay if other go. But I am not going to stay if it is just me.

New change and I am going to edit the original post. Start time is now changed to 3:30 for the Winter Althyng and the Feast to follow after the conclusion of the meeting.

so they took 2 hours off of the feast to add it to the meeting?

MB has a wedding to attend that day and can't make it to the meeting before 3:30 so the meeting start time has been moved from 12noon to 3:30pm which changes the start time of the feast.

bummer..this feast is becoming a hassle. First kids get kicked out, then it gets shortened by a few hours. I'm starting to loose interest in going. Is anyone else planning to go? So far this board is very quiet

Here is strike three for the feast. The next day is suppose to be Galatia/Black Spear practice.
