Celt Wars 2011

It's official! Celt Wars will fall on April Fools Day this year. Please
tell our friends in Concusare, Galacia, and other rocking groups around the
area. I think we should make an effort to get the Hedgehogs out too, since
they're close by and showing up in greater numbers on the field.

I'll make up a flyer sometime in the next month or two, but the basics are
always the same. We have lots of melees during the day on Saturday, a big
potluck on Saturday night, singing, multiple roaring fires, baubling, and an
all around good time. Kids and dogs are welcome, though dogs need to be kept
on leash. If you bring someone new, make sure to be a good host to them and
please make sure they are good guests (i.e. Don't throw punches at any of my
favorite people, Gone Guy). It's a dry site and we have to pack out our own
trash. There's a lot of deadfall we can burn, but we need folks to help
gather and cut wood.

Luckily, we get to be in our traditional primitive spot again this year, but
I'm worried that we're running out of time there. Ranger Lynn said they had
surveyors out this week to start plotting the new group site. I don't know
if we can manage moving that close to the ranger station without Sarsparilla
becoming an issue. So if you know of other sites that may fill the bill for
next year, please let me know.
