OK, I think we will shoot for three groups, one being Orange and Black, one being Gold and Blue (Blue may be the main color), and one being White with a little blue. Start collecting stuff of those color, and we will figure it out from there.

OK, Where do we stand on this. I feel like I have not seen any of you all in weeks. The demo is this weekend, and we really need to get together and discuss this. I kinda think we need to shoot for Tuesday. Let me know.

Demo Run-Through
Ok, In light of a perfect plan, I submit this mildly amusing plan. We plan to meet at 8:00am on Sat to work out the nuances, and any planned chorography.
Clay acts as proctor, leading the action. Hams it up, riles the kids up. Then introduces the Queen.
Missy as Queen enters:
"What words demote, Mine heart displayed
The king is dead, and our champion slain
Evil lurks within the kingdom
Mine ear is open, and my heart prepared
The worst is worldly loss thou canst unfold:-
Say, is my kingdom lost?
Or can a warrior hero be found?"
At which Clay tell the queen that the knights of the realm have come together, and wish to battle for the title of Champion and Regent of the Realm. That do to the recent war, they will not be fighting to the death, but rather to the blow. They will attempt to beat each other into submission, or until they have counted 30 blows. Obviously we as fighters will act out the blows. WATCH YOUR SHOTS SINCE MANY OF US WILL BE FORGOING ARMOR.
Clay then introduces the Knights. At the moment it is looking like we are each on our own, so we should all try to look different.
The fight starts with one on ones, the kids can choose who the want to fight first. Brian will not be picked, or arrive late, challenge for a two on one. Some where in here missy should act bored. She should perk up during this fight.
Clay then sets up some two on twos to interest the queen and kids.
After which the queen should ask the clay how are the at warring and the melee. We will break into two sides. These fights should go quicker, as we are already "hurt". We will do three fights, each side winning one.
Then the queen will pick three would be champions, and say some reason why they were picked. Then clay will direct the kids to decide the winner.
Then we have punch and pie!
Alternate storylines: (as if we can pull these off now)
Three units, Tiger, Wolf and Bear fight for points.
Sir Ray turns out to be a girl/princess...
Evil Sir Kaliban disrupts the contest, and some knights trade sides. then instead of the above melees, we have the good knights melee the bad knights and defeat them. Maybe have Kaliban swear loyalty to the queen. (though why would the bad guy attack with wood swords...)

Are you asking me what warring and melee are? God I hope not. It would be nice if we did not use the word fighting 60 million times. Actually, it would be nice if we did not use the word fighting at all. other possible words:
action, assault, attack, barrage, battle, battle royal, batter, bear pit, beat, beef, best, blows, bout, box, brannigan, brawl, brush, campaign, carnage, challenge, clash, combat, conflict, contest, contention, crusade, dispute, donnybrook, encounter, engagement, exchange, fence, fist-to-cuffs, flap, fracas, fray, free-for-all, go, hassle, havoc, hostilities, hostility, joust, land blows, match, martial, militantry, mix, onset, onslaught, press, prepare the list, punch out, quarrel, ravage, rhubarb, riot, roughhouse, row, rowdy, rumble, rumpus, run-in, scramble, scrap, scrimmage, scuffle, set-to, skirmish, sortie, sparring, spat, strife, struggle, tear into, tiff, tilt, trade blow, under arms, under duress, war, warfare, warmongering, waste, words, wrangle, wrestling.
And staying away from words like bleed, bloodshed, destroy, and kill.
